Pre-Season Swimming

The fun starts early this summer and you do not have to be a member of the KC Pool for this preseason program!!! Beginning April 2^nd we will be swimming on weekends in our heated pool. This is a great opportunity to get in those early swim lessons and be ready for summer, for the more advanced swimmers to learn to swim all of the strokes, or for non-club high school swimmers who want to keep in shape and improve their technique.

The 2005 Sharks will begin swimming in late May or the first of June. The season is about seven weeks and finishes with a Championship July 14 & 15, and also an All-
Star meet, July 18. We appreciate that most of our swimmers commit to be in town for the Championship Meet and All-Stars. An Awards Banquet (T.B.A.) is usually the same week as the Championship and All-Star Meet. Last year, 150 KC kids participated in Swim Team. It is a great experience for all levels of swimmers. We take any child who can swim one length of the pool between the age of 5 and 17. The cost remains the same as last summer, with a $10 discount if you sign-up and pay in April. Try-outs, swim suit try-ons and sign-up will be at a time to be decided on weekends during April at the pre-season swimming. Check the website or email for details!
