Kaycee Club 2005 Swimming Pool Guidelines

 

Swimming Pool Hours

 

   

·         Due to school starting, pool hours may be shortened in late August.

·         We will post colored flags near the gatehouse that will alert you as to the status of the pool.  (Green flag) the pool is open, (Yellow flag) the pool is closed for a short period but will be re-opening that day, and a (Red flag) the pool is closed for the remainder of the day.  Call the gatehouse

       @ 214-343-9061 or the Automated Pool Line @ 214-913-0395 for additional pool scheduling or for          

       rain day delays.

 

Membership

 

·         All pool members must have a current 2005 pool membership card and present it at the gatehouse for pool admission.  Misuse of this card or disregard to the KayCee Club Swimming Pool Guidelines may result in loss of pool use and/or pool privileges with NO REFUNDS.

·         Pool members are encouraged to park in the lot at the rear of the building, as the upper lot is reserved for hall rentals.

·         Each member may invite up to 6 guests and each member must accompany all guests and will be responsible for their guest’s behavior.

·         All guests are charged $4.00 per person (adults and children), whether swimming or not.

·         All swimmers must wear proper swimming attire while in the pool area.  Proper swimming attire is a swim suit.  Boys swim suits must have interior netting.  No gym shorts, cut-offs, or other non-standard swim wear allowed.

·         All children 4 and under or not fully potty trained must wear SWIM DIAPERS.    Regular disposable diapers are not allowed in the pool at any time.  The use of the wading pool is reserved for children 5 years old and under exclusively and the lifeguards do not regulate it.  It is the duty of the parents to watch over these small tots and children while in the wading pool.

·         Parents, please help us prevent accidents in the pool by taking your children to the bathrooms during our regularly scheduled breaks.

·         During our regularly scheduled breaks, both pools are closed to everyone 18 years and younger.

 

Food

·         We have a full service Cantina at the KayCee Club and food items and drinks purchased elsewhere are not allowed in the KayCee pool area.  Only baby food in plastic containers and bottles in non-breakable containers are permissible.

·         Plastic sport containers or bottled water in non-breakable containers are allowed.  Water will be refilled free at the Cantina.

·         Pool members are welcome to visit our Lounge during the pool season.  Proper attire is required such as shirt and shoes.

·         NO ALCOHOL may be taken from or brought onto the premises; this includes the parking lot area.

 

Swim Team & Lessons

·         Only pool members and employees are eligible to participate on the swim team.

·         Information concerning swim team and/or lessons is available at the gatehouse.

 

Lifeguards

·         Lifeguards are here to protect lives.  Please do not distract lifeguards while they are on duty.  Please cooperate with all lifeguard instructions.

·         Should you have a conflict with any employee of KayCee Club, it is your duty to bring any concerns to the Pool Manager on duty or the Club Manager on duty.

·         Our Lifeguards are neither babysitters nor janitors.  Please do not leave (drop off) children at the pool under the age of 12 and it is up to you to instruct your children on the dangers of running on the pool deck.

·         Children should also be instructed to take advantage of the pool breaks by using them as restroom breaks.  Parents, please help us prevent the pool from closing due to accidents in the pool.

·         Trash containers are located throughout the pool area for your use.  Please use them.

 

Pool Safety

·         For safety, we DO NOT allow multi-person flotation devices, hard plastic toys, water guns, missile torpedoes, glass items, snorkels and hard plastic fins, hard Frisbees, or family pets.

·         No pool furniture is allowed in the pools.

·         We DO allow Nerf type toys and small flotation devices.

·         Goggles can be worn at any time.  They are available for purchase at the gatehouse.

·         Masks can be dangerous to children; therefore, masks of any type are not allowed.

·         Shallow Diving is ONLY allowed at the 6-foot end of the pool.

·         The lap lane is for adults only from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

·         No skateboards, inline skates, or scooters are allowed on KayCee Club property.

·         All swimmers go down the slide one at a time, on their backside facing forward.  An adult may accompany small tots when going down the slide.

·         NO DIVING from the end of the slide!

 

These Guidelines are for your protection and are expected to be followed!

General Rules

 

1.      No Running.

2.      No Rough Play in or out of the pool.

3.      Children should not use the pool without adult supervision.

4.      No diving allowed in areas of the pool less than 5 feet deep.

5.      No person with skin, eye, ear or nasal infections allowed in the pool.

6.      No person with communicable disease allowed in the pool.

7.      No animals or pets allowed inside the pool gates.

8.      No glass allowed in the pool or on the decks.

9.      Pool is for private use.  Members and guests only.

10.  All persons using the pool do so at their own risk.  Owners and management

are not responsible for accidents or injuries. 

11.  First Aid Kits are located in the guardroom.

12.  Management reserves the right to deny use of the pool to anyone at any time.

 

Baby Pool Rules

1.      Baby Pool is reserved for children five and under.

2.      No Rough Play in the pool will be permitted.

3.      All children four and under must wear swim diapers.

4.      Regular disposable diapers are not allowed in the pool.

5.      An adult MUST supervise all children in the baby pool.

 

Large Pool Rules

 

1.      Flotation devices and rafts are allowed in the pool with Pool Manager’s discretion.

2.  Hard plastic toys, water guns, missile torpedoes, hard balls, and hard Frisbees       

     are not allowed in the pool.

3.      All toys and other items used in the pool or on the grounds are allowed at the Pool Manager’s discretion.

4.      Slide is to be used by one person at a time, going feet first, on your back down

the slide.  Adults may accompany small children down the slide.
